The Safe Social API is part of Alliance Health's newly released Software Development Kit (SDK), which enables health brands to independently embed applications and build customized tools and messaging campaigns on the company's proprietary Connect platform. Alliance Health owns and operates more than 50 condition-specific social networks, which offer consumers the ability to connect with other patients, as well as to products and services addressing chronic and complex conditions. Until now Alliance Health's Safe Social API has been used exclusively by the company's own developers to create and deploy campaigns for its marketing partners in the health care industry. With the release of the SDK, those same clients and their agencies of record now have programmatic access to Alliance Health's platform. The API streamlines the lengthy and exacting legal review process pharmaceutical companies must undertake each time one of its brands launch a direct-to-consumer marketing campaign. Companies or their agencies can use the API to deploy, refine and scale their online campaigns as their needs evolve.

As the newest addition to Alliance Health's growing portfolio of more than 50 condition-specific social networks, Lifelong Health is a dynamic online community where people start conversations, share experiences, read and post product recommendations, and discuss health related topics. The new Lifelong Health network offers proactive, health-conscious individuals a place to communicate with others who share their interest in preventive health and wellness. The new social network aims to educate health care consumers about the value of preventive medicine and a preventive lifestyle, including how services provided by Life Line Screening, such as vascular ultrasound and laboratory screenings, can be incorporated into a general wellness approach. Life Line Screening conducts nearly 1 million community-based screenings annually at over 15,000 locations nationwide.

Alliance Health Network, Inc. announced it has hired data analytics expert and former CTO of Evri, Deep Dhillon, as its new chief data scientist. In this role, Dhillon will lead the company's efforts in analyzing and integrating massive amounts of health research aggregated by Medify. Dhillon will also be responsible for the application of deep data analytics across Alliance Health's social networks to provide community members the most recent and comprehensive health data available. Dhillon has spent more than 15 years working in technology and analytics, and is a recognized expert in large scale distributed natural language processing.
