Maxion Wheels Opens Light Vehicle Aluminum Wheel Manufacturing Facility in Limeira, Brazil

Maxion Wheels has announced that it will open a new light vehicle aluminum wheel manufacturing facility in Limeira, Brazil. The new facility will join an existing steel wheel plant on the same site and create 800,000 wheels of new wheel capacity in year one, eventually growing to a capacity of 2,000,000 annually. The facility will provide 500 new jobs with an anticipated start of production in the second half of 2015. Maxion Wheels is also initiating an expansion of their current automotive aluminum wheel facility in Santo Andre. The Santo Andre plant will add to their existing capacity by more than 50% to meet growing domestic demand.

Maxion Wheels Names Bill Wardle as Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

Maxion Wheels announced that Bill Wardle has joined its team as Vice President -- Global Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Bill Wardle will lead Maxion's global sales and marketing team, responsible for expanding the company's business throughout Europe, South America, North America, Asia, and Africa and building key relationships with customers in the marketplace. Bill reports to Fred Bentley, Maxion Wheels CEO. Bill has over 15 years' experience representing companies in the automotive industry within a variety of commercial roles including R&D and Program Management. Most recently, he was the Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Magna Exteriors, Interiors, and Seating.

Maxion Wheels Promotes Pieter Klinkers as President - Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific and Global Innovation, Effective March 1, 2014

Maxion Wheels announced that Pieter Klinkers has accepted the promotion to, and additional responsibilities of, President - Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific and Global Innovation, effective March 1, 2014. Pieter will continue to report to Fred Bentley, the Company's Chief Executive Officer. Klinkers will continue to maintain his primary office in Konigswinter, Germany.
