Securitas Security Services USA Names Terrance W. Gainer as Senior Advisor

Securitas Security Services USA announced that The Honorable Terrance Gainer, former Sergeant-At-Arms in the U.S. Senate, has agreed to serve as Senior Advisor to the company effective immediately. In this new role, Chief Gainer will advise on security and law enforcement related matters after having served 47 years in law enforcement at the federal, state and local levels. Terry began his career in law enforcement with the Chicago Police Department in 1968, spending years as a homicide detective and, after law school, became that agency's Chief Legal Officer. Chief Gainer was then appointed Director of the Illinois State Police where he served for nearly ten years. In 1998, he was named Executive Assistant Chief of the Metropolitan Police in Washington, D.C., responsible for all operations and, in 2002 he became Chief of the U.S. Capitol Police.
