QVC international announced unaudited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company announced revenue of $677 million compared to $692 million for the same period a year ago. Adjusted OIBDA was $113 million compared to $120 million for the same period a year ago. Operating income was $80 million compared to $87 million for the same period a year ago. The first quarter results included the negative impact of the strengthening of the US Dollar against the Japanese Yen, and to a lesser extent, the UK Pound Sterling, which were somewhat offset by the weakening of the US Dollar against the Euro.

The brand's top-selling cosmetics--the Translucent Make-up (QVC Item #A328368), Volume Mascara (QVC Item #A328370) and Concealer (QVC Item #A328366)--now join the curated collection from Dr. Hauschka's bath, body and face care lines that has been available through the ecommerce retailer since 2011. Dr. Hauschka Decorative Cosmetics are formulated with high-quality botanical ingredients, including rose, jojoba and avocado oils and neem leaf, black tea and witch hazel extracts, making for a line of make-up that not only enhances a woman's natural beauty but also soothes and nourishes skin.
