Polaris Industries, Inc. signed a strategic partnership with Ariens Company. The company stated that both companies will benefit from this arrangement and foster innovation through shared technology and R&D investments. Also, under the partnership, Ariens will be supplied with a highly differentiated work vehicle branded Gravely, with different performance and styling characteristics to meet the requirements of Gravely's work-focused end users. Ariens Co. Plans to Close Plant in Alabama

Ariens Co. plans to close its manufacturing plant in Opp., Ala. The plant, which is about 80 miles south of Montgomery, Ala., employs 17 people, and will continue operating until July 26. The work from the plant will be absorbed by its facilities in Brillion and Auburn, Neb.
