Turkish Technic Expands Scope of Service Contract with Honeywell Aerospace

Turkish Technic announced that it has expanded to worldwide coverage its existing service contract with Honeywell Aerospace. Turkish Technic will offer full-servicing and testing for Honeywell's auxiliary power units on Boeing 737 aircraft at Istanbul Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen Airports to airlines based at any point worldwide. The company's previous agreement envisaged round-the-clock MRO services to the airlines based only in Turkey.

Turkish Technic Inc. has announced that Air Arabia has selected Turkish Technic for component and support services. The contract comprises component supply and repair on ATA Chapter basis. Components will be supplied from Istanbul/Turkey and all repair and overhaul work of the components will be executed at the Turkish Technic sites in Istanbul/Turkey.

Turkish Airlines forges ahead on being unrivalled in Europe with adding 117 Airbus airplanes to its fleet. New aircrafts are announced to be joined in its fleet. Turkish Airlines is continuing to increase its share in the global aviation market and as the airline's Board of Directors announced 117 airplanes will be joined to the existing fleet. According to the decision of the Board Directors on April 3, 2013, 25 A321, 4 A320 NEO, 53 A321 NEO and options for 35 additional A321 NEO will be delivered by 2015. With the deal of these new aircrafts, the fleet number of Turkish Airlines will reach to 375 in total, including cargo airplanes.
