Ascent Media Group Inc. announced the addition of two key executives, Douglas Parrish, executive vice president of operations and Drake Pruitt, senior vice president of business development. As executive vice president of operations, Douglas Parrish is responsible for managing Ascent's core media management systems integration and content distribution services. Reporting directly to Royo at Ascent's Santa Monica corporate headquarters, Parrish's focus will be on further integrating and rationalizing the company's service lines in order to bring the scale, efficiencies and quality of service Ascent's global clients have come to expect. As senior vice president of business development, Drake Pruitt will lead the team responsible for identifying and pursuing broadly defined supply chain solutions with global media companies, content aggregators, distributors and digital service providers. Drake reports to Tom Kuehle, executive vice president, strategic solutions. Douglas most recently served as senior vice president, operations and development at Move Networks. Drake comes to Ascent after founding Disruptive Works Media, a consulting services firm building audiences for mobile application, casual game and entertainment content providers across all connected consoles.
Ascent Media Group, Inc. announced a multi-million dollar, multi-year deal with Li TV International Limited, to provide post production, network origination, and uplink services for Li, Asias first regional lifestyle channel in HD on Measat. Out of its Singapore facility, Ascent Media will provide a complete file-based workflow and fully automated play-out system in a shared network environment. Lis integrated service offering will include video tape library management, graphics, editing, and channel play-out inclusive of master control facilities, animated channel branding, subtitling, affiliate break signaling, and compliance recording. Ascent Media will also provide the HD uplink to the Measat 3 satellite. In addition to day to day support services, Ascent will also handle the management of Lis vast library of digital media and archived tape assets. To accommodate Lis expansive digital inventory, Ascent will provision a customized multi-terabyte archive storage system sufficient enough to store more than 500 hours of HD content.
Ascent Media Group Inc. announced the appointments of Emily Keeton, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development; Adam Poulter, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Account Management; and Staci Miller, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. All are based at the company's Santa Monica, Calif., headquarters. Emily will lead AMG's corporate M&A initiatives, partnerships and strategy development and will collaborate with business units across regional and functional areas. She comes to AMG from Credit Suisse, where she served as a Managing Director in its Investment Banking division, working on various financing and strategic transactions for media and entertainment companies. Emily sits on the Board of Directors of Row New York. Adam will manage AMG's worldwide sales organization. He will work closely with Corporate Development on creating and executing growth initiatives in new geographies and market segments. Adam comes to AMG from Red Bee Media, where he served as Executive Commercial Director. Prior to Red Bee, Adam held various senior international management positions at Miva (Europe) LTD. Staci is developing strategies for delivering multi-platform strategic solutions to advertisers. Prior to joining AMG, Staci served as Vice President of Strategy and Operations for Warner Bros. Online. Staci also spent five years at McKinsey & Company, where she primarily focused on media and entertainment clients, particularly with digital media interests.
