Pinafore Holdings B.V. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 30, 2013. For the quarter, the company’s sales totaled $775 million, down by 2.6% due to weak market conditions. Adjusted EBITDA from ongoing operations was $129 million. Controllable cash flow, which defined as adjusted EBITDA, less net CapEx and changes in working capital, was an outflow of $28.5 million compared with an inflow of $81.7 million in 2012. This decrease was driven by lower adjusted EBITDA following the disposal of businesses during 2012 and a high level of cash absorption through working capital movements. The increase in working capital is driven primarily by the effect of industry-wide extended payment terms to certain automotive aftermarket customers. Net debt as of March 30, 2013 was $1.55 billion.
