Heineken NV has chosen Orange Business Services to unify the majority of its global communications infrastructure connecting 60,000 employees across 1,100-plus sites in 53 countries, under a 5-year, multimillion euro contract. Orange Business Services serves Heineken's global communications needs in 53 countries a secured, flexible network to support HEINEKEN's global operations and expansion. Relying on its direct presence in 166 countries, Orange Business Services will deploy a highly secured and scalable private network to HEINEKEN's existing locations around the world including a wide range of countries such as: Belarus, Brazil, Ethiopia, La Réunion, Poland, Russia, St. Lucia, and South Korea. The network solution has been designed to support HEINEKEN's international expansion and will enable rapid deployment to new locations especially in high-growth regions such as Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America where the global brewer has a strong presence. Orange Business Services and T-Systems Create Greater Reach for International Videoconferences

T-Systems and Orange Business Services have signed an interprovider agreement for Corporate Video services that will allow customers who use T-Systems' Corporate Video Exchange Services to meet live with customers of Orange's Telepresence Community via videoconference. This innovative Corporate Video solution reproduces the direct interaction between people at different sites so realistically that participants feel as if they were in the same room, even when they are actually thousands of miles apart. T-Systems and Orange Business Services already have video interconnections with other providers in place and will continue to expand these networks to give their customers access to as many video users around the world as possible. The goal is to make Corporate Video links as easy and manageable as a simple phone call. Thanks to the outstanding user-friendliness of the Corporate Video Exchange Services, subscribers can concentrate fully on their meeting agenda and don't have to worry about the technical details. Using their respective booking portals, customers can book meetings with companies using videoconferencing from either T-Systems or Orange Business Services.
Orange Business Services to Provide Multinational Cloud-Based Unified Communications Solution to 3M

Orange Business Services announced that it will provide a multinational cloud-based unified communications solution to 3M to improve collaboration and increase productivity among 3M's 20,000 employees at 75 sites in 25 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Implementation of the solution-Business Together as a service-will take place on a site-by-site basis with 16,000 seats being rolled out by the end of 2014 and the remaining in the following three years. 3M plans to extend the scope to Asia Pacific and Latin America. Business Together as a service is a suite of on-demand collaboration solutions that complements the global wide area network and voice services that the company already provides to 3M in 60 countries and mobile services in Europe. Business Together as a Service will make it easier for the five business groups of 3M to collaborate through a unified solution integrating a wide array of services- telephony, unified messaging, IM/presence, audio and Web conferencing, contact center service, video and mobility. To fit with 3M requirements, the company integrated IBM Sametime instant messaging, presence, telephony, IBM Lotus Notes and voicemail services into the solution. Through a customized self-service Web portal, 3M users will be assigned to one of five standardized user profiles based on their specific needs. The pay-as-you-grow financial model of Business Together as a Service means that each business group will be invoiced monthly for the profiles it uses and will be able to easily scale the profiles up or down through the web portal depending on changing organizational needs.
