Shopko Stores Operating Co., LLC announced the promotion of Jeff Csuy to the position of Senior Vice President/General Merchandise Manager of Apparel and Accessories. He will have primary responsibility for all aspects of planning, purchasing, and execution of fashion business and marketing plans. Csuy joined Shopko in the position of Divisional Vice President of Ladies Apparel in 2008. He added Men's apparel to his responsibilities in December 2008.

ShopKo Stores Operating Co., LLC announced the promotions of two of its senior leaders to executive officer positions. Mike Bettiga has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Bettiga assumes responsibility for store operations, legal, real estate, and logistics. In addition to his new responsibilities, Bettiga will continue to lead the retail health division of the organization. Jill Soltau has been named executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. Soltau is a seasoned merchant with over 20 years experience in the retail industry. She joined Shopko in 2007 as senior vice president general merchandise manager of apparel and accessories. Both Soltau and Bettiga will report directly to Paul Jones, chairman, president and chief executive officer. The appointments are effective immediately.

ShopKo Stores Operating Co., LLC has announced the appointment of W. Paul Jones as chief executive officer, replacing Michael McDonald. Jones joined Shopko in November 2007 and was its president and chief merchandising officer. Before that, Jones had a 20-year career highlighted by senior leadership roles in the department store sector, including May Department Stores Co. and Kohl's Corp.
