DISH Network L.L.C. are now able to access Tennis Channel's linear stream through DISHAnywhere.com on computers and the Tennis Channel Everywhere app for Android and iOS devices. DISH subscribers will be able to watch the spring clay court season leading up to the French Open nearly anywhere they want and at no additional cost. With DISHAnywhere.com and the Tennis Channel Everywhere app, there are a number of new ways for DISH subscribers to enjoy Tennis Channel live content. The Tennis Channel Everywhere app is free to all Apple and Android users; once DISH subscribers download the app, they can tap into the live stream of Tennis Channel's linear television programming by logging in through their DISH online ID and password.

Al Jazeera Denies Interest In Acquisition For Tennis Channel

Al Jazeera Media Networks has denied its interest for acquisition of The Tennis Channel, Inc., reported Los Angeles Times citing senior executive of Al Jazeera. A senior executive of Al Jazeera said that there is no such interest in the Tennis Channel. The executive declined to speak on the record because the company did not want to officially comment on idle speculation regarding a financial transaction.

Al Jazeera Reportedly Eyes Tennis Channel

Al Jazeera Media Networks is planning to acquire The Tennis Channel, Inc., reported New York Post. One souce said, "The Tennis Channel is in play and the Qataris are looking hard." A source familiar with the talks said, "They are very focused on their worldwide sports empire, through Al Jazeera Americas and Paris Saint-Germain." A source familiar with the talks added, "We are starting to see the ultimate exit of the owners of that company [Tennis Channel]. Sports is all the rage and Tennis Channel has long-term rights locked up." Al Jazeera Media Networks couldn’t be reached for comment. Tennis Channel declined to comment.
