Spongecell Expands Operations into Japan to Meet the Creative Needs of Global Advertisers

Spongecell announced that it will further expand its services in Japan as part of an exclusive partnership with iProspect Japan and SPI Japan, Japan's premier marketing communications consultancy. The advertising market in Japan grew 4% in the fiscal year that ended in March 2014 (according to research from the Nikkei Advertising Research Institute and Japan Center for Economic Research), with digital advertising expected to grow 10% over the next year, outpacing the rest of the industry. Together, Spongecell, iProspect and SPI will provide a wide array of products and services that will include interactive display, interactive video and dynamic creative technologies to meet the rapidly growing needs of Japanese brands and advertisers. This is an expansion of a longstanding partnership between Spongecell and iProspect in Japan. The two companies have previously worked on campaigns for brands including Danone and Phillips Electronics and are currently working on campaigns for General Motors (GM), Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and others.
