APAC Customer Services, Inc. announced that it plans to fill 1,000 new Work at Home (WAH) positions. The positions, which are scheduled to be filled between now and the end of 2013, will support client growth. The 1,000 new WAH employees will support clients in various BPO servicing functions, including customer service, sales and technical support; all while working from their homes. The agents will be based in the U.S. and work remotely via APAC's Work at Home technology platform, which allows agents to be 100% virtual, whereby they are recruited, hired, trained and operate from their homes. This WAH platform creates individual operating centers for each agent -- Homecenters(TM) -- and is enabled by APAC's enterprise-wide security, learning, operations and management tools.
