Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc. Plans to Open 8 Stores in Miami, West Palm Beach

Meineke Car Care Centers has announced a partnership with South Florida entrepreneurs Fernando Cassingena and Javier Escalona, who together plan to open five car care centers in Miami and three in West Palm Beach, Fla. The franchisees plan to create 40 to 50 jobs and sign thousands of dollars in development contracts with each store they open. Cassingena and Escalona expect to complete all eight centers by 2020, with one or two stores to be built each year.

Meineke Car Care Centers Inc. Names Paul Clayton as New President; Looks to Double Store Count

Meineke Car Care Centers Inc. named Paul Clayton as a new president. The company said that Paul will take over as president on Oct. 15, 2013 in the midst of an aggressive recruiting push for single and multi-unit franchise owners in major markets across the U.S. Earlier Clayton was CEO of Jamba Juice as well as previous leadership roles at Burger King. The company also said that it hopes to double the size of the company by 2018, with Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and Seattle among the areas targeted for new stores. The company said that it will also work with existing franchisees to improve performance.

Meineke Car Care Centers, Inc. announced Jason J. Moskal as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Moskal brings over 17 years of experience in developing integrated marketing programs and brand strategies with many Fortune 100 companies. Moskal will be responsible for the development of the overall brand strategy and execution of Meineke's strategic marketing programs, including product promotion, marketing communications, traditional and emerging media channels, new customer acquisition and deepening existing customer relationships.
