Yapta, Inc. announced that James Filsinger has been named CEO by the company's Board of Directors, following interim CEO, Ken Myer. As CEO, Filsinger will lead the company as it moves into the corporate travel market with its recently launched FareIQ airfare price tracking solution. Most recently, Filsinger was CEO of EZYield.com, Inc., before orchestrating the sale of the company to TravelClick in November 2011. Since the acquisition, Filsinger had been retained by EZYield as General Manager with responsibility for the entire TravelClick channel management business. Earlier in his career, Filsinger was CEO and General Manager of Moneydirect.

Yapta, Inc. announced the appointment of Matt Hulett, former president of Expedia Corporate Travel, now Egencia, to its board of directors. Hulett, who currently serves as the president of GameHouse will lend his business insight and knowledge of the corporate travel sector to Yapta.

Yapta, Inc. announced the appointment of Roger Gould as vice president of sales. Gould, a travel industry veteran with more than 20 years of sales experience, will be responsible for cultivating the increasing demand for Yapta's business services offering. Gould is the former Vice President of Global Sales for Travel Leaders where he led the business travel sales team and its expansion into the corporate card market. Prior to working with Travel Leaders, Gould served as Director of Sales for American Express Business Travel where he led mid-market sales and played a leading role in helping innovate new strategies for capturing "non T&E" and "business retail" corporate spending. Most recently, Gould had co-founded Biz Travel Consultants, a travel management consulting firm specializing in contract negotiations, partner and technology evaluations, and program benchmarking.
