The House of Representatives (DPR) approved the privatization of PT Sarana Karya (Persero), PT Cambrics Primissima and PT Kertas Padalarang. On October 24, 2012, Zulkieflimansyah, Vice Chairman of the House Finance and Banking Commission, said, "Since the factions have given their approval, the decision can be made."

The Indonesian government is planning to sell its stake in PT Kertas Padalarang, PT Sarana Karya (Persero) and PT Cambrics Primissima by the end of 2011. Mustafa Abubakar, State-Owned Enterprises Minister, said that there is a big chance that the plan can materialize, given that there is only one last meeting with legislators to secure approval for the divestments. “We hope that the divestment of shares in the three state enterprises can be completed this year,” Mustafa said on August 17, 2011. The government wants to sell stake in Primissima to private investors and expected other state enterprises to buy stake in Kertas Padalarang and Sarana, Mustafa added. The government presently holds 52.79% stake in Primissima, 48.4% stake in Kertas Padalarang and 100% stake in Sarana Karya, Antara reported.
