Lagardère Unlimited announced the hiring of longtime sports industry executive Andy Pierce as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagardère Unlimited North American platform. Pierce will join Lagardère Unlimited, where he will lead the firm’s North American sports platform while also utilizing his experience in sports consulting, sales and business development to continue to diversify the business formed by Chairman Arnaud Lagardère in 2010. Pierce will report directly to Mr. Lagardère. Pierce comes to Lagardère Unlimited after 4 years with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he established a sports consulting practice and golf division. Prior to joining CAA, Pierce spent 27 years at IMG, where he led IMG Consulting, reporting directly to IMG founder, the late Mark McCormack and, subsequently, the late Ted Forstmann following IMG’s sale to Forstmann Little in 2004.
