Key developments for FastSoft, Inc.

FastSoft Announces One-Sided 10Gbps Internet Accelerator

FastSoft Inc. introduced at the Interop IT Expo the latest product in its E Series line which supports 10Gbps throughput. The E Series EX accelerates TCP traffic 2 to 5 times, speeding up web applications and data transfers, especially for rich media and dynamic content elements. The E Series EX is built on the FastSoft 2.0 platform--a space-and power-saving 1U form factor--which accelerates rich, dynamic content across the Internet. It offers intelligent performance analysis and reporting to help companies improve end-user experience to create greater loyalty and higher web site conversion. The E Series EX ships with either 10Gbps copper or fiber interfaces. The E Series High Availability configuration eliminates single points of failure while employing advanced failover capabilities.

FastSoft Introduces E Series Version 2.0

FastSoft Inc. introduced E Series version 2.0, the latest software powering its Internet accelerator network appliances. The E Series devices, which enable fast and stable delivery of digital content anywhere in the world, require no software or hardware at the client-side and therefore reduce the need for companies to build and maintain regional datacenters. New features include acceleration of small web objects to complement the E Series' rich media acceleration capabilities, and performance reporting and analysis to help companies determine how to improve the end-user experience. Version 2.0 also provides real-time acceleration reporting and analysis to quantify the enhancement FastSoft brings to the end-user's quality of experience. Other new features that add improved security and manageability include remote upgrade functionality and predefined acceleration profiles. Additionally, the E Series supports 10,000 TCP flows and comes equipped with a passive bypass unit to eliminate single points of failure.
