For the first nine months of 2012, the bank earned $461,000, compared to $514,000 in the first nine months of 2011.

Albina Community Bancorp and Albina Community Bank Announce New Board Members

Albina Community Bancorp reported J. Duncan Campbell, Michael Powell and Kay D. Toran have joined its Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of the Albina Community Bank. Campbell and Toran were also appointed to the Bancorp and Bank Audit Committees, and Powell was appointed to the Bank's ALCO Committee and the Bank's Board Loan Committee. J. Duncan Campbell is the Founder and retired former Chairman of the Campbell Group, LLC. Prior to forming The Campbell Group, Campbell was a tax manager for Arthur Andersen in Portland, Oregon, where he served many of the large public and private forest products companies. Michael Powell has been the owner and President of Powell's bookstore since 1981, a landmark in Portland that has attracted numerous prominent authors over the years. He only recently retired from the day-to-day running of that business. Kay Toran has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Volunteers of America Oregon since July 1999.
