Vodafone Romania Announces Revenue Results for the First Quarter of 2014

Vodafone Romania announced revenue results for the first quarter of 2014. The company reported that its service revenue decreased by an annual 9.8% on an organic basis in the three months through June. Excluding the impact of mobile termination rates, which dropped by 69% starting April 1, the company's service revenue increased by 2.6%, as compared to same period of last year, on an organic basis. The company's service revenue fell to GBP 129 million ($219.2 million/EUR 162.7 million euro) in the period under review from GBP 150 million a year earlier.
Vodafone Romania Signs Deals for Selling Mobile Ads

Vodafone Romania signed new partnerships for selling mobile advertising products through which its AdPlus range of products benefits from a better coverage in the country. Following this partnerships, advertising services based on SMS and MMS channels will be sold by Httpool Online and Mobile Advertising as well as Mediapost Hitmail. At the same time, Tarsago Romania became the exclusive partner for the sale of advertising services through Bill Insert, a service which offers printed brochures included in Vodafone bills. Mobuy continues to be an exclusive partner of the app for smartphone that brings end-users closer to preferred brands.
Vodafone Romania to Open Support Centre in Bucharest

Vodafone Romania will inaugurate a new service centre in Bucharest in the week 30 June -- 6 July to support other subsidiaries of the Vodafone group. The new centre will function in parallel with another technical centre which was opened in April 2013 and is currently overseeing the networks of the group in nine European countries.
