AleAnna Resources, LLC to Participate in Drilling Gradizza Exploration Well
May 9 13
BRS Resources announced that AleAnna Resources LLC, in which BRS owns a membership interest, will participate in the drilling of the Po Valley Energy's Gradizza-1 exploration well in the La Prospera licence (north of Bologna in Italy's Po Valley), through a farm-in agreement executed between PVE and AleAnna. The agreement allows AleAnna to earn a 10% interest in the drilling of the exploration well Gradizza-1, planned for late June 2013. The farm-in agreement is subject to regulatory approvals by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico). The La Prospera license, located in the Ferrara province north of Bologna, was awarded to PVE in September 2008. A subsequent seismic interpretation of 16,800 acre (68 km) of ENI seismic lines identified the Quaternary sands sequence within the Gradizza prospect. The Italian authorities granted final approval to drill the Gradizza-1 well in January 2013. PVE has already ordered long lead items and recently commenced civil works for the Gradizza-1 well site. The exploration well has a targeted depth of 3,280 ft (1,000 m) with Prospective Best Estimate gas Resources of 9.0 bcf.
AleAnna Resources, LLC Identifies Italian Drilling Prospects
Aug 14 12
BRS Resources Ltd. announced that AleAnna Resources, LLC (AleAnna), the company's Italian operator, has completed a 3-D geophysical data acquisition survey on the Ponte dei Grilli permit area located in the Po Valley of Italy. AleAnna now turns its operational emphasis from data acquisition to drilling. Numerous drilling prospects have been identified from processing and interpreting 3-D geophysical data acquired during recent surveys. A number of applications for drilling permits will be filed with the Italian government beginning in September. AleAnna has completed three large-scale 3-D geophysical surveys, acquiring more than 100,000 acres (400 sq km) of data in northern Italy and developing the portfolio of 3-D geophysical data for onshore Italy. The processed and interpreted data is critical in identifying and mapping large, drillable subsurface geological structures containing commercial quantities of hydrocarbons. AleAnna has eight Exploration Permits and three Applications for Exploration Permits, totaling more than 800,000 acres (3,250 sq km), approved by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. The majority of the acreage is located in Italy's Po Valley, Europe's second onshore gas province, where trillions of cubic feet of natural gas have been produced and where significant infrastructure is in place.
