Frontier Airlines announced the appointment of Rick Zeni as the low fare carrier’s new Chief Information Officer. In his role, Zeni will be responsible for Frontier’s information technology and operations, including computer systems, networks and data security. Zeni brings expertise beyond technology with experience in revenue management and operations research. Previously, Zeni was an executive at JetBlue Airways for nearly seven years where he served most recently as Vice President – IT Business Solution Delivery, having joined the company as Vice President Revenue Management. Previously, he held the position of Managing Director, Pricing and Revenue Management Development at US Airways. Zeni began his career working the ramp at Newark International Airport for Piedmont Airlines.

Bill Meehan -- previously CEO of aircraft-maintenance and repair company PEMCO World Air Services and a longtime Continental Airlines executive -- is joing Frontier Airlines as chief operating officer. The company named Jimmy Dempsey as its new chief financial officer. And in April, it named former Spirit Airlines executive Barry Biffle its president. Meehan was an executive of the former Continental Airlines for 27 years, including stints as president and COO of Continental Micronesia and senior vice president of airport services, overseeing Continental's airport and cargo operations.
Frontier to Offer Nonstop Service Between Tampa International Airport and Washington, D.C

Another airline is offering nonstop service between Tampa International Airport and Washington, D.C. Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines, Inc. announced that it will start service between TIA and Washington Dulles International Airport on Aug. 21. There will be flights four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Frontier will offer $39 one-way fares on the new route through Saturday.
