NCC Construction Sweden AB announced unaudited earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, net sales were SEK 7,399 million and operating profit was SEK 325 million against net sales of SEK 7,857 million and operating profit of SEK 345 million for the same period a year ago. For the full year, net sales were SEK 25,043 million and operating profit was SEK 801 million against net sales of SEK 23,574 million and operating profit of SEK 777 million for the same period a year ago.

NCC Construction Sweden AB has been commissioned to construct Angered Hospital. The client is Västfastigheter and the project will be conducted on a partnering basis. The order is valued at about SEK 400 million and will be registered in the fourth quarter of 2012. Planning and preparations are well underway ahead of the start of construction, which is expected to commence at the beginning of 2013. Angered Hospital is scheduled for completion in 2015 and will comprise an area of 18,000 square meters. In addition to specialist clinics and operating theaters, the building will also house a district health centre. The building's design and layout is the result of an innovative approach that is based on the patient and cooperation between areas of treatment.
