Tickets.com announced it has launched the first venue ticketing integration with support for Apple Pay. A new app, The Bushnell, is now available in the App Store and patrons of The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts (Hartford, CT) may purchase tickets quickly and securely using Apple Pay. The Bushnell leverages the ProVenue(R) ticketing platform, a proprietary technology solution built by Tickets.com. Through a hosted, open architecture, ProVenue(R) delivers a reliable and scalable ticket purchasing solution developed from fully integrated and customizable end-to-end services. Tickets.com will continue its rollout of in-app Apple Pay support to its global client sports and entertainment roster, including Major League Baseball teams through the MLB.com At the Ballpark app. Availability for each venue will be announced as it launches.

Tickets.com announced an extended ticketing services agreement. The Amarillo Civic Center Complex and regional ticketing customers of Panhandletickets.com will upgrade to the ProVenue platform later this spring. Amarillo Civic Center Complex expands Tickets.com's regional distributor clientele that already includes The Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Mercer Ticket Sales, IC Tickets, Select-A-Seat and PMI Entertainment Group.
Tickets.com Partners with Allianz Global Assistance UK on Missed Event Product

Tickets.com has partnered with Allianz Global Assistance UK to offer missed event insurance to its more than 300 UK venues through its partners ticketing platforms. Through the partnership Tickets.com and Allianz Global Assistance UK will provide customers purchasing tickets for UK venues that opt in to the scheme with the opportunity to select missed event and tickets insurance at the checkout. Ticket buyers will then be able to obtain a refund if they cannot attend the event for a number of reasons, including personal illness or severe weather disruption.
