Mediware Information Systems, Inc. has launched its new RecruitTrak Suite and OrderTrak software solutions for hospital-based blood centers. The RecruitTrak Suite is designed to deliver control and configurability with user-friendly features that allow blood centers to streamline efficiencies while increasing donations by blood and product type. With the new solution, users can configure the software to fit their blood center's specific needs. RecruitTrak Suite is comprised of five comprehensive modules: RecruitTrak Donor, Coordinator, Call, Quality and Mobile. The modules can be utilized separately or as a complete suite of products for the ultimate blood center CRM system. The system will help blood center staff to be more effective and ensure the right donors are donating the right products. With the new Suite, users can perform many day-to-day tasks such as sending emails, managing drives and gauging success in one simple to use system. The OrderTrak release will take online blood center and hospital relationships to a whole new level. This intelligent approach to online order management can help eliminate phone calls, minimize errors and streamline order management in a single tool. Blood centers will be able to enhance their online hospital relations while improving their ordering processes. Users will be able to easily monitor inventory, place orders, track deliveries and view order histories. This new release of OrderTrak has been implemented at one customer site, with multiple others in the final stages of the upgrade process.

Mediware Information Systems, Inc. Partners with Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. to Integrate Rehab Documentation and Outcomes Solution

Mediware Information Systems, Inc. announced that it has entered into a business relationship with Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. As a result of this new relationship, Mediware's MediLinks rehabilitation software and FOTO's Web-based outcomes functionality will be integrated, allowing customers to better measure patient outcomes and improve the quality of care. The integration of the two products will help MediLinks users capture demographic information, track G-codes and provide outcomes reporting. Mediware customers will now be able to examine patient episode information within the MediLinks software and, at the same time, leverage FOTO's ability to measure patient outcomes and benchmarking tools.

Mediware Information Systems, Inc. Announces Enhancements to Rehabilitation Software Product

Mediware Information Systems, Inc. has announced the release of clinical and operational enhancements to its MediLinks rehabilitation software product. These software enhancements give outpatient providers increased control of Therapy Cap and Manual Medical Review (MMR) compliance. Providers can now use the MediLinks software to track MPPR adjustments to billed charges and Therapy Cap and MMR reimbursement thresholds. The MediLinks software permits providers to model the expected reimbursement from Medicare and account for the additional reductions imposed by the MPPR policy. An improved authorization module keeps track of the different categories of reimbursement that impact billing. Mediware's outpatient rehabilitation software proactively notifies users when specific actions are required, and these notifications can be customized to implement organizational policies.
