Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Announces Executive Changes at Four Seasons Hotel George V

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts continued to create leadership opportunities for key talent with the promotion of Christian Clerc, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris to the role of Senior Vice President, Hotel Operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new role based in Dubai, Clerc will lead hotel operations across EMEA and report to Christopher Norton, Executive Vice President, Global Product and Operations and support the company's increased focus on product and service differentiation. Clerc worked at a variety of hotels in destinations across Europe, including Rome and Paris, before joining Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC in 2000. As he moves into his new role, Four Seasons veteran Jose Silva is promoted to Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, an appointment that reflects the deep operational bench strength and tenure within the organization. Currently General manager of Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues Geneva, Silva's vision and passion for perfecting the guest experience have had a transformative influence on the property, which recently added a new collection of suites, reimaged the spa experience with the launch of Spa Mont Blanc, and was awarded its first Michelin Star at Il Lago.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Promotes Christopher Norton to Executive Vice President, Global Product and Operations, Effective April 1, 2014

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced the promotion of Christopher Norton to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Global Product and Operations. Effective April 1, 2014, the position includes responsibility for worldwide hotel operations, product, design, construction and procurement. Under Norton's oversight, product and service delivery will be further integrated to increase opportunities for differentiation as Four Seasons extends its global leadership position. The appointment builds on Norton's extensive industry experience, including 25 years with Four Seasons, most recently serving as President Hotel Operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa, a role that included the operational oversight of all Four Seasons properties in the region. Norton will be relocating to the company's headquarters in Toronto, Canada and will report directly to President and CEO Allen Smith.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced the appointment of Jane Burnell to Vice President Sales, Americas. Burnell is currently Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa where she leads Four Seasons sales activities throughout the region. During her three years in the position she has been instrumental in growing Four Seasons business in the region and played a key collaborative role in global sales initiatives and worldwide partner programs.
