LG Electronics Announces Availability of GizmoPal in Verizon Wireless Stores Nationwide and Online

LG Electronics and Verizon Wireless announced that the kid-friendly GizmoPal By LG is available in Verizon Wireless stores nationwide and online for $79.99. GizmoPal can be added to a Verizon Wireless MORE Everything plan for an additional $5 monthly line access fee. GizmoPal is LG's wearable for kids, aimed at helping parents keep in touch with their pre-school and elementary school-aged children. LG designed this kid-friendly device for parents who want to keep in touch with their children, who may be too young to manage a smartphone on their own. GizmoPal is worn on the wrist and comes in two colors blue and pink. It strikes a purposeful balance to help parents stay in touch with their children, even while on the go: Auto Answer: Two registered guardians can quickly call their children wearing GizmoPal; calls from up to four registered phone numbers are automatically answered, even if the child does nothing. One-Touch Calling: Children can call out to the two registered guardians with the touch of a single button. Location Check: With the GizmoPal app, parents can receive scheduled updates and notifications of their child's current location and location history using GPS technologies1. Drawing on its heritage of products with long-lasting battery life, GizmoPal features a 400 mAh battery. The device will sound a notification and notifies the GizmoPal app when the battery is low and needs to be charged. A red LED light changes to green when the device is fully charged. The GizmoPal app is compatible with smartphones and tablets with Android 4.0 or higher and iOS 7 or higher. The primary caregiver will have the ability to add or change the secondary caregiver, approve up to three registered contacts who can contact the GizmoPal band and update software for the device.

ArgoTrak's customers include boat rental and charter companies in Southwest Florida, as well as other businesses and individuals in the region and around the world. Small, weatherproof ArgoTrak units not only can track watercraft and vehicles, they also can disable ignition, help analyze and control fuel consumption, and manage other functions. The GPS and other data is transmitted rapidly on Verizon's wireless network to cloud-based servers and then can be remotely accessed in real-time by connected computers, tablets and smartphones.
