Nirvanix Inc. announced the appointment of Debra Chrapaty as its Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2013, at which time Dru Borden will remain a part of the Nirvanix leadership team as senior vice president of planning & development and remain as a board member. Chrapaty will also remain executive chairwoman of the board, an appointment that was made in November 2012 in conjunction with Khosla Ventures and Intel Capital becoming the lead investors of the company. Chrapaty joins Nirvanix after a highly successful career at Zynga as CIO, where she oversaw their infrastructure design, technical and support operations as they developed games for millions of people.
