AOL, Inc. and Vuguru, LLC announced the premiere of Little Women Big Cars. In honor of, and timed to Mother's Day, the series will debut on May 7, 2012 on AOL On Parenting. AOL gave more than 450 brand advertisers, marketers, agencies, digital and TV media buyers a sneak peek of the new series at its Digital Content NewFront now in New York City. Set in Southern California, Little Women Big Cars centers around four devoted soccer moms struggling to balance their busy schedules, family lives and sanity. New episodes will air weekly.

Yahoo! Inc. and Vuguru, LLC struck a licensing deal to develop and finance premium content. Yahoo will work with Vuguru to develop multiple original scripted series for exclusive U.S. distribution on its online video platform, Yahoo! Screen.

Michael D. Eisner announced that Larry Tanz has been appointed chief executive officer of Vuguru, LLC. Tanz will continue to oversee development, production, distribution, marketing and strategic partnerships and reports directly to Mr. Eisner. Tanz joined the company in 2009 and under his leadership the company has established its position as one of the top innovators in original scripted multi-platform content. Prior to the company, Larry served as president & co-founder of Agility Studios where he helped build the three season franchise The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, which is in worldwide distribution by Paramount. Larry also served as CEO & president of LivePlanet, a multi-platform production company co-founded by Matt Damon & Ben Affleck where he oversaw numerous projects in film, TV & new media.
