Cutwater Holdings, LLC announced that Alex Jackson has joined the company as Managing Director and Head of the Bank Loan Group. He has 22 years of experience in leveraged finance, of which the past 12 years have been as a bank loan portfolio manager, most recently as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and CLO portfolio manager at CIFC Corp.

Cutwater Asset Management announced four key hires in support of its consultant relations and distribution efforts. These moves follow the appointment of Christopher P. Keating as Managing Director and Head of Global Sales and Distribution in May 2011 and highlight Cutwater's commitment to and strategic focus on its key growth areas, including total return strategies, liability driven investing and alternative fixed income strategies. Robert Alan will join Cutwater Asset Management in October as Managing Director and Head of Consultant Relations, having previously served as Head of North America Consultant Relations at Putnam Investments. Prior to Putnam, Mr. Alan held similar positions at Babson Capital Management and Fidelity Management Trust Company. Mr. Alan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University. Charlie Hannigan has joined Cutwater as Managing Director, Institutional Sales. Mr. Hannigan previously served as Director of New Business Development at Caxton Associates. His responsibilities there included business development and investor relations for the firm's various funds. Jerry Thunelius has joined the firm as Managing Director of Portfolio Management for Cutwater's traditional strategies suite of products and oversees portfolio management for the firm's Taft-Hartley segment. He has over 20 years of broad investment experience in fixed income portfolio management, trading and risk management. Mr. Thunelius was previously a Managing Partner and Head of Core Fixed Income Strategies at TCP Global. Michael Sheridan will join Cutwater in October as Vice President of Institutional Marketing. Mr. Sheridan most recently served as Director of Institutional Marketing for Columbia Management (formerly Riversource Investments) and previously had similar roles at Babson Capital Management and Putnam Investments.
