Rostelecom Expands GPON in Yugra, Tymen, Yekaterinburg

Rostelecom has expanded the coverage of its fibre network to 10,000 households in the town of Langepas in the Yugra region. Work on the GPON network started in 2012. The operator has also started engineering work for the deployment of a GPON network in the town of Yalutorovsk in the Tyumen region. The operator wants to cover 1,800 additional households there. Engineering work has also started in the town of Tugulym in the Yekaterinburg region. Over 800 households will be covered there by a GPON network.

Rostelecom Expands Network in Bryansk

Rostelecom has deployed new FTTB network parts in the agglomeration of Vyshkov in the Zlynkovskiy municipality of the Bryansk region. The regional branch of regulator Roskomnadzor has cleared the newly-built network.

Rostelecom Builds Network for Digital Retailer DNS

Rostelecom has deployed a fibre network for the digital retail chain DNS. Lines were built to 17 units of the company in Nizhny-Novgorod, Arzamas, Bor, Vyksa, Dzerzhinsk, Kstovo and Sarov in the Nizhny-Novgorod region. The capacity of the lines varies from 5 Mbps to 50 Mbps. The network enables the company to use other services from the national operator, including digital telephony, IPTV and VPN.
