Company Overview of Cambia Health Solutions, Inc.

Regence announced that Craig Belcher has joined the company as Director of Network Management. In this role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing a multi-state network strategy, promoting innovative provider reimbursement methodologies, and building relationships with key providers. He most recently led the reimbursement and managed care teams at Surgical Care Affiliates for Idaho, as well as Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii. Previously, he served Blue Cross of Idaho in various leadership roles in provider contracting, decision support services and data analysis.

Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. announced that Dr. Richard Popiel has accepted the appointment of Senior Vice President, Health Care Services and Chief Medical Officer for all health insurance plans. He will be based in Portland, effective Oct. 31. He will lead medical strategy and provide executive leadership on addressing care initiatives and cost management. He comes to Regence from Horizon Healthcare Innovations, where he was president and chief operating officer.

John Morgan, one of Cambia Health Solutions, Inc. top executives, is leaving to become CEO of the Avamere Family of Cos. Morgan is president of Direct Health Solutions Inc. He will rejoin Cambia's board of directors after his last day at Direct Health Solutions on September 30, 2012. He previously served on Cambia's board while he was CEO of the bandage-maker HemCon Medical Technologies Inc. John has played a critical role in leading Cambia Health Solutions into the future, first as a member of its board and then as the president of its Direct Health Solutions division. Morgan also chairs the Oregon Innovation Council.
