Tela Innovations, Inc. announced the appointment of Liz Stewart as Vice President, General Counsel. In her role she will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters of Tela including intellectual property, licensing, commercial transactions and management of outside counsel. Ms. Stewart has spent her career representing technology companies in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining Tela, she held in-house positions including Assistant General Counsel of Artisan Components and a position with NEC Electronics, Inc. She also represented public and private technology companies for a number of years with her own firm. Previously, she was a member of the Technology Transactions Group of Cooley Godward LLP and she began her career in intellectual property litigation with Skjerven Morrill LLP.
