Three Health Care Systems In The Race To Buy Hackettstown Regional Medical Center

Ascension Health Care Network, Inc., Hackensack University Medical Center and Atlantic Health System, Inc. are in race to acquire Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Officials said that the potential deal could conclude by December 31, 2012. Lisa Dimiceli, Hackettstown Regional spokeswoman said that in May 2012, Adventist HealthCare, Inc. had put the Hackettstown center for sale. Lisa Dimiceli confirmed that the bidding stage is completed. Lisa added, "We hope to hear something possibly by the end of this year."
