Martin Padgett, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clark Memorial Hospital said, "We did talk about this topic and let them know that no agreements have been signed, that we're still in conversations with them, that we're soliciting input from the commissioners, the council and our medical staff leadership as we develop the relationship going forward". He also said, "It was basically to say to our team members, 'We first let you know about this last November, and it's not like nothing has been going on, but there's a lot of things that have to be discussed and we're still in conversations with them, and that we really feel like it's going to be a great thing for our community and a great thing for our patients, and a great thing for us as a hospital.
