Congressman Parker Griffith announced that the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) awarded Dynetics Inc. a contract worth up to $88.86 million over a five year period. The contract provides resources for a wide range of duties to determine technologies to be used, threats posed, propulsions systems and counter-measures on defensive systems like SAM missiles, radars, anti-tactical ballistic missile (ATBM) defenses, ballistic missile defenses and directed energy weapons (DEW). The agreement is a task order contract for a base period of three years with two additional one-year options that may be exercised by the federal government. The bulk of the work required under the contract will be performed at the local Dynetics facilities in Huntsville and at Redstone Arsenal.

Dynetics Inc., Huntsville, Ala., won a $60,999.45 federal contract from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., for research, development, test and evaluation.

Dynetics Inc. won a $64,986.62 federal contract from the U.S. Army Materiel Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., for research, development test and evaluation, and other defense related applied researches.
