CBRE Group, Inc. announced that it has hired Joe Wallace to oversee its tenant representation practice in the Baltimore-Washington region as part of the brokerage's restructuring. Wallace has been named senior managing director and occupier services leader for the Washington region. Wallace's move to CBRE comes just a few months after longtime tenant rep Patrick Marr resigned from the brokerage to take a new role as vice chairman at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Tenant reps across the Baltimore-Washington region will now report to Wallace, whereas before they reported to their market's managing director. Wallace has been working as a consultant since 2012. He previously worked in a variety of positions, including senior managing partner at CB Richard Ellis Inc., which became CBRE.

CBRE has appointed Lynne Keenan as head of its property and asset management department in Scotland's one of a number of new hires. Keenan's director role includes developing the team, and maintaining and growing the firm's client book, which includes MEPC and Aberdeen Asset Management. She joins from Cushman & Wakefield, and will cover CBRE's offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
