Lummus Technology Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013. The company had a strong quarter reporting revenue of $156 million compared to $151 million in the third quarter of 2012. The increase in revenue reflects a greater volume of heat transfer and licensing revenue from a higher beginning-of-the-year backlog. Third quarter operating income totaled $45 million, benefited from the -- benefiting from a timing of delivering licensing activities and reflecting the increase in refining-related equity earnings.

Open Joint Stock Company Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Lummus Technology, Inc. Sign Contract on Execution of the Extended Basic Engineering

On June 14, 2012 after the general meeting of shareholders of Open Joint Stock Company Nizhnekamskneftekhim (OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim), at presence of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir Busygin, the General Director, OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and Scott Wiseman, the Senior Vice-president, Lummus Technology, Inc. (CB&I Lummus), signed the contract on execution of the extended basic engineering and development of the Russian design documentation for a new Olefins complex of 1,000,000 MTPA of ethylene. On April 28, 2012 a license agreement and Basic Engineering Contract were signed between OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim and CB&I Lummus. The new Olefins Complex is the basic project of the Strategic Development Program of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim for the next five years, it was also included into the Program of RT Petrochemical Complex Development and in the Plan for development of Oil & Gas Petro chemistry of Russia for the period until 2030.
