The eight departures include three vice chancellors and five directors of offices in north central and northwest Indiana handling financial aid, marketing and communications, and other responsibilities. The administrators whose jobs are being eliminated were notified in person and received a letter informing them that their last day is July 15. Each has been offered a severance package. The job cuts are the latest step the community college has taken to close a $68 million budget shortfall.
