Capio AB announced group earnings results for the year 2011. For the year, total net sales was SEK 9,855 million, operating result (EBITA1) was SEK 338 million, operating result (EBITA2) was SEK 545 million, EBIT was SEK 380 million, loss before tax was SEK 92 million and net loss was SEK 142 million against total net sales of SEK 9,730 million, operating result (EBITA1) of SEK 361 million, operating result (EBITA2) of SEK 569 million, EBIT of SEK 63 million, loss before tax of SEK 710 million and net loss of SEK 643 million for the same period a year ago. Total net debt was SEK 4,735 million against SEK 7,078 million a year ago. Capital expenditure were SEK 573 million against SEK 595 million a year ago. Operating cash flow was SEK 355 million against SEK 264 million a year ago. Free cash flow (excl. financial items) was SEK 203 million against SEK 207 million a year ago. Net cash flow used in continuing operations was SEK 759 million against net cash flow from continuing operations of SEK 625 million a year ago.

Capio AB Receives Renewed SEK 1,300 Million Contract for St Gran’s Hospital

Stockholm County Council's has decided to renew Capio AB's contract to run St Gran's Hospital in central Stockholm, Sweden. The new contract covers the period 2013 to 2021, with a right for the council to extend the contract for another four years. The annual contract value is approximately SEK 1,300 million.
