Washington College Key Developments
Gretchen Dwyer, a fundraiser and 16-year veteran of school development and alumni-relations work, has been named vice president for college advancement at Washington College, of Chestertown. She will begin work in mid-January. Since 2004, Dwyer had been senior director of campaign and leadership giving at Bennington College in Vermont, and on occasion its interim vice president for external relations. She has also been director of development at the Tower School, in Massachusetts, and director of development and alumni relations for the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Boston University.
