Pace University Establishes Center for Global Governance, Reporting and Regulation; Appoints John Alan James as Executive Director

Pace University has established a Center for Global Governance, Reporting and Regulation. John Alan (Jack) James, a Lubin professor and major proponent of the teaching of comparative corporate governance, has been named the center's inaugural executive director. James brings the center over 40 years of experience as an author and consultant in Europe, Asia and the U.S., and as an instructor at European business schools including INSEAD (Institut Europeen d'Administration des Affaires, near Paris), CEI (Centre d'Etudes Industrielles in Geneva, Switzerland), IMD (International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland), and the Northwestern Kellogg European Management Program (Lausanne). In the United States, he has been a guest lecturer at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell and Northwestern.

Pace University Announces Executive Changes

Pace University has appointed Toby R. Winer as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Winer has been with Pace since 2006, managing and leading key finance and treasury functions, and most recently serving as Pace's Senior Vice President-Finance and Treasurer. Prior to joining Pace, she spent 20 years in various senior administrative roles in higher educational institutions. She was Assistant Vice President, Planning and Budgeting at Baruch College, City University of New York; Assistant Vice President in the Office of the President, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, a unit of the University of California located in Oakland, California; and Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. She succeeds Robert C. Almon, an experienced financial executive and investment banker who joined Pace as Executive Vice President and CFO for an 18-month bridge period after the departure of the University's prior CFO. Almon will continue on a part-time basis as Senior Adviser to the President for Enterprise Finance and Long-range Financial Planning.

Pace University and Kaplan Global Solutions Collaborates on New Global Pathways Program

Pace University and Kaplan Global Solutions, a division of Kaplan Inc., announced their collaboration on a new Global Pathways Program which will identify and prepare well-qualified international students for study in many Pace undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The collaboration 'will support Pace's efforts to enhance its already strong international student enrollments, helping to identify ever more qualified students and create positive, successful transitions to study at Pace and in New York City.
