Health Dialog announced the appointment of David Morris as Senior Vice President of Sales & Service. Morris brings more than 25 years of experience to Health Dialog's management team, including deep expertise in sales, business development, and client services roles for healthcare-focused technology and services companies. In his role at Health Dialog, Morris will be instrumental in the company's efforts to help health plans, employers and providers address their entire populations with solutions across the full spectrum of health. Prior to joining Health Dialog, Morris served as Vice President for SAP America's Healthcare business, working with payers and providers and a national account team.
Health Dialog Services Corporation announced that Robert Mandel, MD, MBA has been named the new company CEO. Mandel will take the reins from James Tugendhat, Health Dialog's current CEO, who will lead the creation and delivery of Bupa's global healthcare partnership strategy. Dr. Mandel joined Health Dialog in May 2011 as Executive Vice President for Market and Business Development, leading the company through a major strategic reorganization late last year. Prior to joining Health Dialog, Dr. Mandel served as the Senior Vice President of Health Care Services at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. Earlier, he held the role of Vice President of Health Care Services at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. As part of the leadership transition, James Tugendhat will relocate to Bupa's corporate center in London, where he will lead the creation and delivery of Bupa's global healthcare partnership strategy.
Health Dialog Services Corporation announced that it has been selected by Activate Healthcare (Activate) to deliver Shared Decision Making services on-site at Activate's employer health clinics. On-site health clinics ensure that employees take charge of their health, and employers take charge of their costs. Under terms of the agreement, Health Dialog, will use its proprietary analytics to identify individuals most in need of support and will deliver its Shared Decision Making(R) aids directly at the point of care. Health Dialog's offerings will initially be provided to a population of 1,100 covered lives at the Monroe County Government Health Clinic in Bloomington, Indiana. Additional roll outs at other Activate clinics are expected as the relationship matures.
