Sypris Electronics, LLC announced that it has opened a new research center to focus on advancements in cyber security and information assurance. The facility is strategically located in the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana to leverage the company's partnership with Purdue University's Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS). The Sypris Research Center will focus on advanced research and product development for Sypris and its global partners, specifically for technologies in cyber security, network protection, identity management and overall information assurance. The Center will enable a closer collaboration with Sypris and CERIAS on multiple existing and new projects to develop new technology solutions for next generation security threats, providing a conduit to translate university research into real-world solutions.
