Lincoln Financial Network (LFN), the retail client business of Lincoln Financial Group, announced that Joseph Gaeckle has been appointed Managing Principal of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp. (LFA). In this capacity, Gaeckle will lead efforts to widen LFA's footprint in the region and grow market share. Gaeckle, who is based in Berwyn, PA, will report to Jack McCaughan, Managing Director of Lincoln Financial Advisors' Atlantic regional planning group, which includes the Philadelphia regional offices. Gaeckle joins Lincoln Financial Advisors from Waddell & Reed Inc., where he served as a Managing Principal focused on growing sales and the advisor force in his division, and District Manager, where he led a team of advisors and supported recruiting efforts. Prior to his roles with Waddell & Reed, Gaeckle served as Regional Marketing Director/Wholesaler and Sales Coordinator with The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. (PLANCO Financial Services, LLC).
Lincoln Financial Network the retail distribution division of Lincoln Financial Group announced that John DiMonda, Managing Director for the Metro New York/New Jersey and North Central Ohio Regional Planning Groups, has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation, and will assume his new role January 7, 2013. DiMonda will report to President of Lincoln Financial Network, David S. Berkowitz, and will lead strategic efforts to further grow LFA's business through its enhanced planning and wealth management offerings designed to help independent financial advisors better serve their clients. Furthermore, he will become a member of the LFN Executive Committee and the Corporate Leadership Group of Lincoln Financial Group.
Stefan Lambert has been appointed a managing principal of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp., serving as market leader for Northern Virginia and surrounding field offices. In his role, Lambert will be responsible for recruiting new advisors, retention and risk management. A twenty-two year industry veteran, Lambert began his career as a financial advisor with Smith Barney in New York, NY. In 2000, he was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, Vice President of Investments for a large Smith Barney office in New York. In 2003, Lambert joined UBS Financial Services as a Branch Manager, Director in Vienna, VA, and in 2008, he began working for Waddell & Reed in Owings Mills, MD as the Managing Principal for Maryland.
