The new endeavor demonstrates Pioneer's continued commitment to creating innovative ways to help retailers promote their business as well as enhance the consumer shopping experience. FitFotos builds upon the success of Mobile Electronics Live (MEL), Pioneer's online portal for dealers, with approximately 2,800 participating retail stores. Created two years ago as a way for Pioneer to communicate directly with its dealer community, MEL offers exclusive product information, video training and technical support.

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. announced the release of its first iPhone application created for use with its new AVIC-U310BT and AVIC-Z110BT in-dash navigation systems. The company said its AVIC FEEDS App establishes a link between the Apple and Pioneer products, letting iPhone owners find points of interest or search for destinations ahead of time on their phone and access them via Bluetooth from their Pioneer navigation systems. This eliminates the need to write down or manually enter address information into the Pioneer unit and allows drivers to receive turn-by-turn voice guidance while being able to use their iPhone for other purposes.

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.'s Professional Sound and Visual Division launched two multi-format digital turntables, the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900, with features that put the performance back into the art of DJing and reduce the need for laptops to access music files. DJs of all experience levels can enhance their mixing and scratching capabilities using proprietary technologies such as rekordbox(TM)1 music management, Pro DJ Link, Needle Search and USB and SD card connectivity. Adapting to variety of media formats, the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900 enable playback of MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF audio files from CDs and USB memory devices, and from DVDs and SD cards as well on the CDJ-2000. A USB port located on top of the turntable enables users to quickly connect an external storage device such as a Tonium Pacemaker(TM)2 or a hard drive packed with music files, minimizing the need to bring a laptop computer to performances. Both the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900 turntables include rekordbox(TM), Pioneer's proprietary music management software that organizes and catalogs a DJ's entire music library. When music files are imported to rekordbox, the software analyzes each file and prepares them for use specifically with the new CDJ turntables.
