Through the agreement, effective Jan. 1, 2014, Kleenex(R) hand hygiene products will be sold and marketed using the recognition and support of the highly recognized NOVAPLUS(R) private-label program, which delivers the best financial value on the products and services that hospitals use most frequently.

Novation to Offer Invuity Products to 65,000 Member Hospitals and Affiliates
Apr 18 13
Invuity entered into a three year agreement with Novation for Invuity's complete product portfolio. Under the terms of the agreement, Invuity products will be offered to more than 65,000 members and affiliates of VHA Inc., UHC, Children's Hospital Association and Provista, all served by Novation. Invuity's products utilize the company's proprietary Eigr (pronounced eye-gr) illumination technology brilliant, cool light that virtually eliminates shadows, glare and thermal hazards during surgical procedures. The agreement, effective as of April 1, 2013, includes the Eikon, Eivector, Taylor, and ISTR retractors, as well as the Eigr Saber hand-held illumination product family. These surgical tools are used by doctors in a variety of procedures, including spinal, orthopedic, thyroid, breast, plastic and general surgeries. The Invuity agreement was awarded through Novation's innovative technology evaluation process. Novation's Innovative Technology Program allows the organization to work with member clinician councils to identify new or innovative technology that provides an incremental clinical benefit over existing products. Doctors report that Eigr illumination technology enables procedures that were previously challenging to perform, such as skin-sparing and nipple-sparing breast cancer surgeries.
