In his new role at Mercy Corps, Downey will focus on creating a robust planned giving program by identifying prospects, soliciting and coordinating deferred gifts to Mercy Corps through bequests and life-income arrangements such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Rick Downey is a past president of the Washington Planned Giving Council and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
