Hughes Network Systems Wins Contract from State of Texas Department of Information Resources

Hughes Network Systems, LLC announced it has been awarded a contract modification by the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to expand its offerings under the Texas Agency Network Next Generation (Tex-AN NG) Communications Technology Services program. Under the modification, Hughes can offer bandwidth tokens for small office/home office (SOHO) Internet; redeployable satellites for Fixed Satellite Services (FSS); and move, add, change (MAC) services for both SOHO and FSS. Hughes Network Systems, LLC Launches Enhancements to Hugheson Digital Media Solutions for Government

Hughes Network Systems, LLC announced enhancements to its HughesON(TM) Digital Media Solutions for Government platform. These new capabilities increase social media integration, enable low-cost cloud services for content storage and expand emergency notification functionality. Social media is an integrated part of HughesON Digital Media Solutions and the enhancements bring a full slate of features to more effectively access Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, Google+ and Instagram. The new enhancements to HughesON Digital Media Solutions are available now via GSA Schedule 70 #GS-35F-0907P.
