Roberts Hawaii, Inc. and GreenCar are partnering to provide visitors to Poipu, Kauai, with a more sustainable, full-circle transportation solution with an express shuttle to and from the airport and car-sharing at the hotel. This partnership is designed for visitors who are seeking convenience, affordability and a greener Hawaii. Roberts Hawaii's new express shuttle provides transportation from Lihue Airport to accommodations in Poipu Resort including the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club, and Koa Kea Hotel and Resort where visitors have self-serve access to GreenCar to rent green cars by the hour when they need them. Roberts Hawaii's express shuttle to Poipu Resort is a reservation-based service. In addition to ground transportation to and from the airport and Poipu, guests are greeted in person by a Roberts Hawaii representative at Lihue Airport, presented with a shell lei and provided luggage assistance onto the shuttle. Hotels are offering the Roberts Hawaii express shuttle service and GreenCar as an extension of their online booking service. The resort hotels and the Poipu Beach Resort Association (PBRA) include branded portals on their websites to help visitors understand their options.
